Losing my positive attitude.

I've been consistent and determined for a year now and I just can't seem to lose this baby weight
I almost always eat healthy.take vitamins. I don't drink soda . I walk daily . I have done several different workouts and attempted to get through the insanity program but I have a knee injury that has been inhibiting my ability so I would do a few days straight then have problems finishing the next day because of pain and swelling. Although I did finally manage to complete month one.
I'm starting physical therapy next week and hopefully ill be strong again. But regardless I am completely losing all motivation.
This is the healthiest and most active I have been in YEARS . But the change has been minimal. Toning up but not dropping weight. And my weight keeps fluctuating.
It's very discouraging to say the least. I don't know what to do.

Any advice / new workout or diet suggestions / or motivational new friends would be amazing.
I'm open to whatever you guys have for me
????????????

I'm not a real expert of being healthy yet... But based on what I know about being here... BE PATIENT.
If you're already pretty fit and thin, then it's going to be a lot harder. There are tons of exercises you can do without exasperating your knee.
Toning up is amazing on its own. The weight will follow eventually.
Good luck on your physical therapy.. It can do wonders.

Hi, add me if you want I am in the exact same boat - baby weight that refuses to budge and trying to get through insanity with a niggly knee - I am managing to stay positive tho, it might be catching...

edit: we actually look a bit alike when I have my glasses on lol

People have come up with low impact modifications for Insanity. You can find quite a few options on Beachbody forums or just google them. Here's one example: http://theinsanityexperiment.wordpress.com/2013/01/25/day-14-fit-test-not-for-me-ill-stick-to-cardio-recovery/

    Hi,
I can say what worked for me is tracking everything, not guestimating. (Not saying you are doing that), but enough cannot be said about measuring and weighing food. I was stunned when I continually did this at how much I was underestimating by eyeballing. As others have said consistency and patience are also top key players in this lifestyle change thing. Another thing I noticed after 2 right knee ACL replacements over 20 year period, is that when I began weight bearing exercise with proper form my knee pain completely disappeared--even with no cartilage in the knee as well as the dual surgery. When I take a week off, I feel it.

Are you sure you are eating the correct amount? Too much, and of course, you don't lose. Too little, esp with consistent exercise, and you mess up your metabolism, making it more difficult to lose weight. Have you calculated your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) and eat at a 15-20% deficit? If not, check out http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ or http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/ to determine how much you need to eat.
