elliptical trainer and diet

i did 7.0 on my cross trainer yesterday in 30 and it said i only burned 110 calories today i did some core exercises today and am going to do another 30 minute on my cross trainer, my diets kinda always the same foods and ive been stuck for a while i have upped my exercise lately should i up my calorie intake to 1700

I've found the calorie burns on machines and here on MFP are not correct. I purchased a heart rate monitor to accurately know my calories burned.
When was the last time you switched up your calorie intake? Every 10lbs you should recalculate as your goal will go down as you lose weight. According to the ticker on your profile you have 11lbs left to lose until your goal weight so switch your weekly loss goal to 0.5lbs if it isn't set at that already. Eat back your exercise calories.0 -
I feel the same as the other poster. I went on to body fit media. com and purchased the $99.00 special that monitors calorie burn throughout the entire day, even while you are sleeping. It fits right in to myfitnesspal.com and it is flipping cool man!
I got one for my wife and I and they are both kicking butt. I know exactly how much actual sleep I am getting because this thing monitors your sleep patterns and then you put your food into myfitnesspal and it moves right in to the body fit application.
Its worth a shot, I don't trust the machine estimates simply because they have to be set for the "average" fitness person and if you are anything like me, You are not average. I am a wreck since I have only done 30 days of working out in my entire life and its only the last 30 days I have done it.0 -
the last time i changed my calories intake was months ago when i first started i was on 1200 then just went straight up to 1500 and ive stayed there ever since0
