Gynecomastia or just fat

Hello everyone on MFP , I have been a member for about 5 months and I managed to lose 27 kilograms(59 lbs) mainly by dieting and running for about an hour three times a week .I am actually 5ft9in and I'm weighting about 167 pounds and my bmi is finally normal( 24.7).
I am pleased about the changes I made to my body , I still have some visible fat under my arms and my lower belly and I don't see a problem about that , the biggest issue is still my man boobs. Even they look much smaller they still very visible to me and it's very annoying especially when putting a swim suit or while getting intimate with a woman .
I am still on my diet but I fear that I might have some level of gynecomastia and i'm not ready to go under surgery (Mentally and financially) .
please check the pictures and tell me your opinion

I think this is a question better asked of your doctor than people on these forums.
Best of luck to you.0 -
I'm leaning towards gynecomastia, but I'm definitely not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV. Might want to ask someone who knows a lot more about it than the random freaks of MFP :-)0

I guess anyone here could weigh in on an opinion, but only a qualified doctor would be able to give you a yes or no. If it were me and I didn't want to go to a doctor just yet, I would complete my weight loss program first, then go. Find out, learn all about it if indeed you have this condition (surgery, costs, recovery, etc, etc. etc). One step at a time.0

I agree with DebbieLynn0

Hmm. Do you have any before pics? I am wondering if it's just that your skin hasn't yet caught up to your new body. How big was your chest before you lost weight?
But, I can see what you mean about possibly having gynecomastia. I just did a quick Google search and I can see some similarities.
ETA: *obviously* only a doctor can tell you. Since you asked for opinions, then that is what I am offering.0 -
If I could see a doctor I might not be asking the question on MFP , I live in a small town and the nearest city with specialists is 350 miles away0

It may actually be worthwhile to go to the effort to ask a good doctor. I just did a bit of quick reading, and it can actually be a symptom of an underlying condition.
It also may just be that your skin hasn't caught up to your weight loss. So you could give it some time and see if it improves. Building up muscle mass may also help.0 -

If you really want to know for sure, then you may have to decide some way or some how to make that trip. Yes, it may be expensive and a long way to travel. So then, it becomes how important is this issue for you? Is it something important enough for you to save up money for and plan a trip for? MFP members cannot be a substitute for a qualified trained medical professional.0 -
I will have to lose some 10 pounds before having to take a trip to the doctor , until then i'll have to swim with my shirt on0

Why not try some chest muscle building exercises (i.e. weights) in addition to completing your weight loss. That may help distribute the skin and fat that is left.0

It looks like gynecomastia to me. I didn't look up your age, but if you have health insurance I would see a plastic surgeon because they can generally get approval to have it surgically removed. Good luck.0

yeah that's gyno bro!
definitely start lifting heavy though, wont remove it but will do wonders for your body!0
