Looking for some ideas. Ive plugged in some stuff for tomorrow morning (I intend to get up before my kids to get in at least 5 sets of 10 overhead press, squats, deadlifts, leg lifts..) Was thinking water and some wheat thins and hummus before then after almond milk, banana, granola..maybe some greek yogurt? I normally eat 1/2 cup fat free Greek yogurt with 1/4 cup of granola and whatever fruit was on sale that week Would love some more ideas?

I usually eat a regular lunch around noon, and then I don't eat anything until I lift from 4-5, and then I'll go home and have dinner around 6:00 later that night. I don't eat anything immediately before or after I lift. It's just personal preference.0

you should always try to eat carbs before, it'll give you more energy. I usually go for whole grain flax seed bread, with peanut butter and banana's and eat something high in protein after, I always have a protein smoothie or quest bar, stay away from eating food high in fat after you workout0

As far as eating carbs before, it depends on the person, some people have plenty of energy without consuming carbs before working out, some people can't move without consuming carbs, so it depends. As far as eating fat after your workout, just eat a balanced meal, protein, carbs, and fat, you'll be fine, you don't have to avoid fat.0
