OK. I'm 19. Here are my stats:
VERY short
current weight: 109 :(
highest weight: 118
lowest weight: 89

I maintained between 90 and 95 for about a year and felt GREAT about my body. I'm very short and am in a field that requires I be very small (think figure skating, gymnastics, etc.). Anyway...I went through some emotional stuff back in June and gained around 20 lbs in just a month. I really need to lose at least 10 lbs in a month and a half or so, and have been struggling to do so. I was aiming for a 500 cal net for a while, but saw no improvement. Then I switched to a 100 cal net...lost 1 lb. I'm so frustrated and don't know what to do. I ALWAYS eat breakfast, eat plenty of protein and healthy fats (lots of nut butters) and exercise at least an hour a day 5 days a week, plus I work retail the other days (so I'm pretty active even then). What am I doing wrong? I lost all that weight from 118-low 90s eating a similar diet (relatively low calories, lots of veggies, lots of exercise) but it doesn't seem to work this time

Your body can't function on such low calories, 1200 should be your minimum.

It's not. An example would be eating 581 cals and burning 450 (on Thursday)
Br: strawberries, Greek yogurt; frozen waffle with 1/3 tbsp coconut oil
Lu/Sn: 2 tbsp dark chocolate peanut butter
Di: big romaine salad with about 3 oz grilled chicken breast (no dressing), 1 cup grapes
And I exercised for around 2 hours

BUT I"M NOT LOSING WEIGHT :( It's so frustrating to put all this effort in and see ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

I've always been told "don't go below 1200" but I gain on that. It's the sad truth

You'll gain at first but once your body readjusts you'll go back to losing. Have you worked out your TDEE?

Ok, I just did. Using Mifflin-St Jeor calculation, I got 1240 BMR, 1813 TDEE. What does that mean?

So the total calories you burn in a day without exercise is 1813. you should be eating 500 calories less than that per day for a 1lb a week weight loss, so that's 1313 calories a day. When you exercise you should eat back the calories you burn - always equal out to the 1313 a day.

This means that you use 1240 calories when you are in a coma, and need 1800+ to maintain (that means fuel) your body. What you are doing is disordered eating, and you need to seek professional help.

Generally tdee calculations include exercise, and then you take 10-20% off depending how much weight you have to lose.

Oh yes, that's true. I set my activity level to sedentary anyway which is why I eat back all my exercise calories, but it depends what activity level you log.

Even for someone short, that is not enough food, especially if you are exercising that much. Your net was 131 calories that day, which is scary. You should be netting another 1000+!!

If you carry on eating like this you are going to serious damage to your body. I hate to say it but you sound like you might have an eating disorder, or at the least a very unhealthy relationship with food.
