I've been going since end of May, so not new this week but new in the more general sense, and learning new things every day...request sent...ask me anything....Woot!

Glad you are here. Success is not in an all or nothing attitude, so no exercise at first - fine by me.

I started small - just logging with no intention of "dieting" - then after the first day - I didn't want to eat like that again. It was obvious to me what I was doing - the pattern was clear in that darn food log.

So I started tweaking. I am not on any specific plan - I prefer unprocessed foods mostly, but ate a slice of pizza and a chicken sand at mcdonald's last week. Perfection would doom me, especially during my work year.

I say start, then tweak here and there - ask questions - friend feeds are the safest place to ask without causing the bullies to start world war III. Sift through the advice, see what fits and make a tweak. My tweaks are really adding up. I've ignored plenty of advice that didn't fit my needs.

Friend me if you want - I got your back.

While Im not new to MFP, I started in earnest in May. It was a real eye opener when you see just how much calories/sugar/fiber etc is in the food you are used to eating. Eating out is horrible for counting - that is all I wanted to do before, now I see how much you sacrifice and opt to eat in.

hello!! I´m new here in MFP but I´ve been training for several years.
I´m from Venezuela, I hope to learn these things about calories, I´ve just tried to take care about fiber&proteins, I´m 25 years old and I think my metabolism is changing through the years...
I don´t know how this web works but I hope to meet people to share my goals and ask any doubt that I could have in future....
