Low cal, High Protein YUMMY Tilapia

Serving size - 8oz. (2 pieces, 2 servings)

* 4 frozen tilapia filets
* 1 tsp. minced garlic
* 1 tsp. parsley
* 4 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
* 1 stalk green onions
* 1/4 c. red bell pepper, diced
* 1/4 c. yellow onion, diced
* Butter, 4 tbsp (i use parkay no-cal spray butter)
* pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and place tilapia in a pan. Mix the garlic, parsley, and lemon juice and drizzle over the fish. Then toss onions & bell pepper on each one. Spray/spoon butter on each piece and sprinkle pepper. Bake for about 10 minutes or until fish is flaky.

This is SOOOO fast to make. Great for people with a busy lifestyle. Plus, you can get frozen tilapia at walmart for $6-$10 depending on the size of bag you get. Each filet is individually wrapped.

    Another way to serve tilapia is to bake or microwave it until it starts to become translucent, then drain the fluid and top with picante sauce and low fat motzarella cheese (not sure how to spell that) and just continue cooking it until the cheese melts. I like it best with hot, chunky picante sauce. Very easy and tasty.
