Kettlercise

I run most days anything from 3 to 5 miles. I have a kettlercise DVD which has three programmes, a 60 minute, a 20 minute and a stomach workout.
When I used to do it twice a week using a 4 kg weight, I really toned up but I can't seem to get motivated to start again.

Anyone else do this form of weight training and how do you stay motivated?

Try a new workout. Mix it up because repetition can be boring. If you run the same route everyday, change it. You got this.

I did the kettlebell for 2 weeks everyday, lost 7lb and seemed to lose inches but then stopped....its so hard to start again isnt it
  • I run loads of different routes, mainly in the countryside and off road. I might set myself a two week challenge to do it everyday...gosh I'm going to be sore.

there are literally thousands of kettlebell workouts on youtube. load a bunch of them into a playlist, pick one at random, and do it.

oh, and buy a heavier (much heavier) kettlebell. if you want motivation, you're going to need to challenge yourself.

I don't know if you want to stick with the kettlebell or try something totally new, but if you were looking for new k-bell ideas I highly recommend Michelle Khai's Kettlenetics program. It's a little dance mixed with traditional k-bell. Lots of variety & fun. And she's not annoying.
  • Thanks everyone, I've had a look on YouTube..I'll mix it up...watch this space!
