Hello :)

I am a 31yo full time working Mom of two young children. I had my Ah Hah moment in May and haven't looked back since. I still have my struggles, but I seem to be maintaining decently.

I am looking for a strong support group of friends on the forums. I also have a blog that I started trying to follow my journey. Check it out and support me there too!

Thanks for reading and I can't wait to meet all of you!

Back in May I was at my Niece's Communion party and a close family friend pulled me aside. She is a wonderful and nice woman and meant no harm, so I in no way am against her :) So she said "You know I haven't heard from anyone in the family and I may be putting my foot in my mouth, but are you pregnant?" Me: "No I am not, and don't worry about it! I am actually wearing a maternity dress! It's super comfy!" She looked like she was going to cry and I told her not to worry and It didn't bother me.

So I was fine all day until my kids were in bed and BAM I started sobbing. It is sad that my children, my husband, and my health weren't enough to get me motivated. It was someone thinking I was pregnant. BUT it worked!

Nice work so far, your ticker is pretty! If I were you, I'd send that lady a note telling her what a major influence she has been to you. Personally, I'd be extremely mortified if I would mistakenly let out a comment like that, but if its target would later acknowledge my error as something positive in the end, I would be very relieved.

    Edit: illogical-to-my-point quote removed.
  • Thank you and yes, I have been considering it more to send her a thank you for gettng me healthy LoL. Now if I can stay motivated!!
