same hear rate monitor- totally different calorie burn

Has anyone had this happen?

I changed the battery in my HRM, and now after the change I'm getting completely different calorie burns. Last time I did Chalean Extreme burn circuit 1 it read 535 calories. This time 223 calories burned.

No difference in my output.... I feel exhausted.

Thoughts?

Did it reset all your input settings to default when you changed the battery?
    (weight, age, VO2max, etc)

    This ^^^

When I changed the batteries in my HRM, it put all the info back to factory settings and I had to re-enter all my personal stuff again.

It didn't bother me, but if I hadn't done that, the calorie burns would have been different.

I did put everything in again..and I took the test where you lie down for 5 minutes, but it has my V02max at 10. I don't think that could be right
