?how do you eat your oatmeal?

Hey guys! I really find oatmeal can get a bit repetative and boring after a while, so what do you do to make it that extra bit delicious? What do you add? Any recipes? Thankyou :flowerforyou:

    Oats + peanut butter + chocolate whey + raisins + milk

    I was given a 25lb bucket of rolled oats a few days ago, so I now have a serving a day :) My current favorite way to eat it-

    -1 serving, cooked in water
    -add 1tbsp ground flax seed
    -small handful of raisins
    -a dash of cinnamon
    -small handful of raw walnuts

    oats
    water & almond milk (50-50 mix)
    fresh fruit - blueberries, sliced peaches (frozen berries works well too - defrost first though!)
    golden syrup if I don't fancy fruit (1tbsp)

    I like to mix the oats 1:1 with water, microwave if for about 45 seconds, then add 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce. /sometimes I slice in a banana after that.

    I use quick, 1-minute cooking oatmeal
    1/2c almond milk, 1/4 c water
    dash of cinnamon
    cook for 2 minutes in microwave
    add 1 Tbsp of PB2
    1 tsp honey

    I cook my oatmeal with water, but then add a splash of milk afterwards. I usually eat it with frozen blueberries... I find they thaw out quickly and cool the oatmeal down just enough to eat.

    I also like to cook it with a few raisins sometimes, then add cinnamon and maybe a little brown sugar to the bowl.

    I've cut up half of a banana before as well, and this was quite tasty.

    I'm really wanting to try the overnight oats recipe for something different... May do that tonight for tomorrow's breakfast :)

    add stuff in moderation:

    a little maple syrup (real maple syrup)
    cinnamon
    nuts
    peanut butter
    fruit
    etc, etc etc...

    There are infinite possibilities, add in moderation

    i make overnight oats.
    30g rolled oats
    65g unsweetened vanilla almond milk
    10g chia seeds
    100g of plain nonfat greek yogurt
    mix it up and then add frozen fruit of choice.
    put in refrigerator for the night (typically 8 hrs)
    sweeten to taste with truvia.(1/2 Tbsp for me)

    Also, 1-2 tbsp of canned pumpkin, a little cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice.

    I'd think that many fruits would be awesome too. Pears, berries, etc.

    I recently switched to eating the oats dry, mixed with a Greek yogurt. I'm never going back, its my favorite snack.

    - 2 parts water, 1 part milk
    - Raisins
    - Chopped Banana
    - Bit of honey
    - Cinnamon

    Throw it all in, heat and stir it plenty to break up the banana. Amazing breakfast!

    I know it's common to make with water and add a splash of milk.

    I am thoroughly indulgent and make it with full fat milk, no water.

    Drizzle a bit of honey on top.

    Delicious, I feel no need to change it up.

    -1/3 of a cup of oatmeal cooked with water
    -1/2 a frozen banana, chopped
    -2 strawberries, diced finely
    -1/8 of an apple, diced finely
    -1 tbs of 98% fat free mango yoghurt
    -3 almonds, grated or chpped

    mmm.... good? Too much?

    I never find this super food repetitive. I eat it almost every morning made with plain water. I add half a banana sliced up plus a few fresh strawberries or raspberries and a teaspoon of chia seeds.

    I eat oatmeal pretty much every day. I don't find it boring. I have 2 or 3 flavours at home, so I switch them around every day, and I'll throw in some fruit like a banana or apple or some complimentary nuts to add some more texure and taste. I make mine with water and I put in 1 tbsp of Chia Seeds to aid my digestive system :)
    I love oatmeal. !

    Can you cook up a bunch of it and leave it in the fridge and dip out what you need for the day? If so how long can it stay in the fridge?

    I like it simple. Steel cut oats, water, chia seed, ground flax seed, cinnamon, and PB2.

    I either eat flavored oatmeal or if its plain, add brown sugar or cinnamon, and sliced strawberries.
