106 days...lost 40 pounds.
Wanted to lose some weight for a while, but was basically trying to do it through exercise only. I ran 15-20 miles per week and lift twice a week. Didn't lose anything.
My brother in law hooked me up with MFP and apparently seeing the cold, hard calorie information was enough to motivate me to deal with the food end of it. The other part of the equation was being diagnosed with sleep apnea in January. Solving the sleep issue led in turn to more energy, which makes it easier to exercise. More exercise makes it easier to lose weight.
Here we are 106 days later. Just got back from a 6.4 mile run. Ran 30 miles last week.
It's all good...

That's fantastic!
I know a lot of people stop using their CPAP machines after losing weight. I'd recommend you get re-tested first. I'm an RRT and I had a patient who lost a bunch of weight, stopped using her CPAP, starting feeling tired again, then got re-tested and found she still needed it. It's not always solely weight related. Just an FYI.0 -
Glad you've got all your ducks in a row. Have a great week and keep with it!0
