Exercise classes too loud - why???

I've been enjoying doing bodypump and a kind of 20/20/20 (more aerobics) but I cant face going there just because I'm finding the decibel level uncomfortable. Not just the music but doubled up by the instructs screeching to a point where I am pulling a face in pain!!! Last session I couldn't believe it when she turned the music up louder half way through! I do understand that everyone has a different level of acceptable noise and that some are more sensitive than others but in the past I have never had this issue.
This is at my local leisure centre run by the local authority but the other authorities dont have the same problem its just the one closest to me and the classes are great times and enjoyable.
I cant possibility walk up to them and ask them to turn it down (or can I?) last week my ears were popping and with anybody the risk of tinnitus and the local authority leaving themselves open to possible legal action seems madness to me.
Surely (UK) sound levels should be monitored by the leisure centre or should they have a policy on strength of noise?
What is with these lady instructors screeching - havent they ever filmed themselves or nobody taken them aside and told them its just not necessary to sound like a dying cat? Surely if the music wasn't so loud they wouldn't not need to raise their voice so loud?
Do I approach the management of the LA? or do I turn up at a class extra early and request that due to my sensitive nature could she turn the music down?

If other people in the class agree with you, then you're golden. If you're the only person bothered by the noise, too bad for you. So ask around.0

I would just approach the instructer after class and ask if she can not make it soloud next time-direct apprach is usually the best. Besides if it is bothering you, it is probably bothering other people too.0
