Halfway to goal and an NSV 34lbs down

I wanted to share my success "so far". and I was pretty shocked when I looked at some pictures. It's funny how we struggle to see the changes in ourselves. I suppose it's from being exposed to our own bodies all day everyday lol. But either way, I'm super excited to be where I am an can't wait to see what changes the second half of this journey brings. Saturday mornings are my weigh in days... and this Saturday was a big one for me. I officially weighed in at 173.6. I was REALLY hoping for 174.4 for a couple of reasons. 174 marked both my halfway to goal mark exactly AND it also brought me into the 'overweight" BMI range from obese. What a great feeling to be even lower than what I was hoping for.

I've also discovered that I love running... who would have thunk it??!! I used to skip gym class on the mile run days back in high school LOL. So the first picture was about 3 weeks in at 197 (I joined in 2011, but didn't start doing ANYTHING until 4/13/13) on May 4th out with my sister for her birthday. The second photo was this morning after my run :o) I completed the C25k 3 weeks ago and now am working on the 5 to 10k program :)

Sorry for the crappy quality photos... I will work on that for the final success post! ha ha
