I am planning on getting me a fit bit this week. I have been frustrated trying to find a correct way to figure out my TDEE. I still don't know a whole lot about fit bits but I am hoping it can help me find my correct TDEE.
anyone know?

My Fit Bit One is the greatest thing ever. I hate exercising but now its like a game to me. Just did a 3 mile power walk to get enough steps for the day and felt like I won a gold medal! I love love love it.0

+1 on the Fitbit. Very motivational. Add to the fact that it links to MFP and I absolutely think it is one of my best purchases as it has really helped keep me going for several months.
Setting MFP to interact with Fitbit and show the negative calories is really helping keep me honest.0 -
The Fitbit will gather all your activity throughout the day ... it also has all your stats (height, weight, age, sex). It will then calculate your total burn every single day. To me ... this isthe best way to find TDEE, better than any online calculator estimate. Fitbit will keep a running average of your total burn from the past 30 days, so that's what I look to. And if you log your food on MFP (and sync the two), you'll be able to get a great "intake vs burn" graph for the past 30 days. I try to keep those lines from crossing, or even touching. I did a post about the Fitbit on my blog, and I have a snag of my graph there. http://jenbsjourney.blogspot.com/2013/08/wondering-about-fitbit.html0

I agree with the Fitbit this is the best way to get your TDEE, it gives you your average over 30 day span. I find it very useful0
