Tough Mudder!

Hey everyone!

I'm participating in Tough Mudder: Buffalo this weekend. This is my first time doing one of these, so I was wondering...how do you log the workout?

Good question! I'm doing my first mud run with obstacles in a couple weeks and was wondering the same thing. Usually I wear a HRM but not sure if it can go in the mud without damage..?

I wouldn't recommend wearing the HRM if you don't want to damage it.

I don't know how you would record it... maybe some running (bear in mind you won't be running all the time) and some circuit training? Unless there are long waits at the obstacles, you'll be doing some low level form of exercise nearly all the time for 3-4 hours, and that's when you're not doing the high level stuff! Make sure you eat right to fuel your body.

Good luck, Tough Mudders are such an awesome experience, you will love it!

I don't know how you would log something like that, and I don't think you should worry about logging it. It's one day. If it were a weekly thing or something, then I'd try to figure it out.

It took me 3 hours 45 min on my first one. I didn't wear a HRM because I am well aware that I am working my butt off and I will eat anything I damn well please after. A HRM isn't meant to be worn for long periods of time, but I don't know the time limit.

Totally agree! I think my time matched yours too.
Perfect opportunity to eat what you want for the day! lol

Don't waste your money on the giant turkey leg at the end. It was a big disappointment. haha

I agree- don't worry about logging it. I also did the Buffalo mudder and had so much more fun than I thought I would. I hope you had a fantastic experience!
