I've noticed a lot of people refer to micro and/or macro nutrients in posts and I'm completely stumped! What should I know about these and how can I use that knowledge to improve my diet?

Your macros are protein, carbs, fats and fibre, and the micros are everything else such as potassium, magnesium, calcium and so forth.
To use them, well you need to get a good balance of the macros, I need to keep my carbs in check and make sure I get enough protein and fibre. Again same for the micro nutrients, several of them are important for weight loss such as calcium and zinc just to name two0 -
Thanks so much, Beardedmike! Very helpful.0
