How much do anorexic people exercise? Do they exercise at all since they probably have no energy?

Some people simply don't eat enough. Others combine not eating enough with cardio.
If you think you might be anorexic, but you have energy enough to jog around, that doesn't mean you're not anorexic. See a doctor.0 -
OP:
Your thread history indicates a problem. Please seek a medical professional. (Or talk to your parents or another trusted adult, since you being 18+ is questionable)0 -
Baby girl, you need to see a doctor. All of your threads and questions are concerning.0

Why am I getting told to get help because I am curious as to how much an anorexic person exercises?0

Yes. This too.0 -

Because it seems like you want the answer that anorexic people can't/don't exercise so you can say "Anorexics don't exercise, and I exercise, therefore I am not anorexic" to people who express concern you might be in your posts.0 -
Wonders if we're getting trolled....0

This. I posted on your other post today, as well. I usually don't get involved with posts like these but you continually post things that most anorexic sufferers post. We are hoping you seek help before you do severe damage to your body.
I had a really good friend in school that everyone knew was anorexic, her friends and family knew, tried and tried to get her help. She kept wasting away and looked absolutely awful. One day, just a couple years ago, her mother showed up with groceries for her as she always did because she knew this was the only way the poor girl would put food in her house and found her dead. PLEASE seek professional help or at least talk to your parents about these issues.0 -
back when I was anorexic, it was about having some sort of control in an otherwise out of control situation, so for me, it was about the food, or lack thereof, not working out. I'd say it varies with each person, depending on the thought process.0

I used to have an eating disorder and I am going to be blunt here.
Everyone with an eating disorder has different attributes and behaviors some don't exercise at all, some exercise to burn all the calories they eat (that's called exercise bulimia), some exercise to burn even more calories than they ate. Eating disorders are not a good way to lose weight. You are thin while you are participating in unhealthy activities (in some cases, some people never ever lose weight while doing these things), but as soon as you eat normally again, you gain weight, even more than you weighed before in some cases... I lost 40lbs with my eating disorder, when I recovered I GAINED 60. An extra 20 pounds. If you are asking this question because you want to mimic the activities of an eating disordered person: don't bother. It won't help. You will be miserable when you're thin then be even more miserable when you try to get better and gain enough weight to be deemed healthy (because you'll probably gain more than that.)
If you're thinking about trying to mimic the activities of someone with an ED, it's probably best to see a body image counselor. You might not have an eating disorder yet, but you might be starting to develop one.
If you are genuinely curious about things and are not trying to mimic these things, I apologize. But as someone who is recovered (or I guess recovering even though I've been ED-activity free for 1.5 years now), it is in my nature to be concerned when people ask these types of questions.0 -

That is so sad. Thank you for sharing, maybe this is what the OP needs to read...
OP, people respond the way they do because they just want to help you. Best of luck. :flowerforyou:0 -
They walk to the nearest golden corral and see how many, plates of food they can carry and then they shovel it all in followed by bicep curls with long johns covered in chocolate.0

I'm no longer genuinely concerned. You're very clearly trolling. I only wish you were doing it better. :yawn:0
