Hi, i'm not new to fitness pal but i've never posted on the community part. But been super lonley and not alot of people to chat with. I'm 25 almost 26, after i had my second baby i was at 273! arggh hated my weight. But it's been a 2 1/2 year trial i'm down to 190 lowest i've been for like 5 years. i'm thinking about joining military reserve or sherrif so my goal weight is 150-160 lbs since i'm almost 5'7 and stocky. So a little more weight to go! But been stuck on 190 for about 3 weeks =( need some encouragement which no one around me is dieting so it makes it harder! So just lookiong for some friends on here to chat with and connect too,

    Hi there,

Congratulations on your weight loss so far, you have done an amazing job if you have managed that without much support!
I am from the UK and am trying to lose about 40(ish) lbs in total, been on the journey for 2 months now.
Feel free to add me as a friend if you would like to share some support along the rest of your journey :-)

    Hugs :flowerforyou:

Hello! I too am new to my pal and am looking for some friends for motivation and encouragement. I've been over weight since 1995 and finally making a commitment to myself to lose this weight. I've lost 10 lbs. so far and I am going to keep going until I am down to about 170 pounds. I have a long way to go, but know with friends I can do it. So feel free to add me and I'll help anyway I can. Love meeting new friends~ We can do this together!!!! Nettie 219

Hi Veeve13 having kids and being lonely can really put the pounds on. When I had my first child after 22 months we moved to another state. My husband's home state. He was thrilled he was about 15 minutes away from his parents and I was about 3 hours away from the only home I ever knew. No friends no idea about the area I was living in even the road rules were different than what I was used to when driving it was a little scary. I was 27 . I was only about 15 lbs up from when I first got pregnant but after the move started to balloon up. About 8 months later I joined weight watchers and lost 32 lbs I ended up working for them for about 3 years then got pregnant with my second child. I did well with my weight during the pregnancy but then we moved again to our house that we live in today but again lonely. I began eating and put some weight on and I have been fighting that battle for 25 years. I eat very little each day as a matter of fact I usually always check in with fitness pal and am under the calories everyday. According to their predictions I should be losing a lot more weight than I actually am losing. So on Monday I am going on a new diet it's called the Fast Metabolism Diet In 28 days it is supposed to heal and reboot a damaged metabolism so that you burn the food you eat better. I will keep you posted

Congrats on the weight loss so far!

I was in the 230s when I went in to deliver my little girl back in March of 2012 and was 206 when I came home. I am down to 173ish now, hoping to get down to somewhere between 135 and 140.
