Does any one know why the MFP calorie limit doesn't change with weight loss? Most other sites I've seen adjust the daily amount in line with a person's weight.

Hi there, when you check in, which should be fairly regularly, I am told that this should adjust your goals etc.

In terms of calories - I would rather work that out myself after looking at my TDEE/BMR so I can make sure it is appropriate for me rather than being a general calculation.

MFP will ask you to adjust after a 10lb loss

It does change, when you update your weight loss. I started with 1800 cal 6 months ago, and on 1200cal since July.

    Ok. Thanks everyone.

I've lost 26 pounds and have just logged Day 60, so not sure why mine isn't being changed.

Mine only changed once, but Im a slow loser. It doesn't change with every pound you lose, will probably keep you steady til nearer your goal.
