I need Help!

I have decided last minute to enter in a pageant. The pageant is less than 6 weeks away and it includes a fitness test. The fitness test entails Running (based on speed, 1 mile), Sit ups, Pushups, step ups and more. As of right now, I can VERY SLOWLY jog a mile, and I can only do about 10 pushups (from my knees!). HELP! I need some advice to get in shape in time! I am hopefully going to startin Insanity on Monday; will this help with the situps/pushups? Any ideas on how to get my running up to par?

    I have heard good and bad things about insanity.... quick (ish) results, but a number of people I know didnt get very far because they have injured themselves doing it.

    As for running, just get out there and do it more... log what you do and if you push yourself a little to improve each week you WILL see results. Good luck :)
