Means lots of my Mommy's home cooking! I cannot wait to have some as I haven't had it for so long, but it also means that is isn't very healthy. My plan is too work out hard every morning and enjoy at least a little bit of mom's home cooking! Anybody have any other advice for me, so I don't go nuts!!!

Thanks,
Heather

Maybe drink water before the meal? Or a green salad? Less space in your stomach afterwards for the hearty stuff...

I've also heard that if you snack on some 100% whole wheat or whole grain bread and dip it in olive oil, it helps fill you up so you aren't so tempted, espically when it's dessert time. But I haven't found an olive oil that I like by itself.

um, I would not suggest bread and olive oil, save your cals for mommy food and do try to get a lot of fiber, preferably 20 minutes before the meal. a 50-cal salad is good. Also, dish up your own plate and tell your mom you're working really hard and want to enjoy all of her food, but maybe just not as big a portion as usual and hopefully she understands.
