Eating 4 to 6 times a day every 2 to 3 hours a myth or real in making ur metabolism faster, prevent hunger or starvation mode and can help u lose weight
or
As long if it fits your macros and your calories need is the real,, and meal timing does not matter , even how many times u eat a day and any hours interval when u eat again,

Meal timing is personal preference.0

I think it's very real. I eat every three hours during the day, otherwise I cheat and grab chips, sodas, all kinds of stuff.0

Meal timing is irrelevant.
I'm sure you've been told before.
Stop making threads.0 -
Meal timing is largely irrelevant for the vast majority.0

Myth!0

Personal preference, for some people eating at the same times every day is a good habit because it helps keep them from eating random **** throughout the day. Personally, some days I eat 6 meals, some day I have 2 or 3, as long as your hitting those goals it doesn't matter brotherman.0

When you guys say "irrelevant", you are referring to metabolism right?
I would offer it is very relevant with regards to satiation and helping to prevent over-eating.
OP, I eat six times a day. Helps me.0 -

We are referring to fat loss / muscle gain.
Whether you are satiated or not, obviously that part is preference, I personally was hungry eating 6 meals a day, not hungry eating 2.0 -

You've been told before, let me make it simple.
Does how many times you eat a day effect muscle gain or fat loss: no.
Does total calorie intake count: yes.
Conclusion: Hit your calories and macros before you go to bed,, eat as many meals as you want.

100% agree.0 -
i paid close attention to meal timing for a long time. then i stopped and it made no difference at all.
so it's a myth in my opinion.0 -
because some of you says its a myth and some its real,,
You're misunderstanding what people are telling you. The people saying meal timing is irrelevant or "a myth" mean that it doesn't matter in terms of weight loss/muscle gain. The people saying meal timing is "real" or important are saying it from a satiation perspective, which is entirely a personal thing.
The thing that absolutely, 100% is complete BS is the belief that eating a lot of smaller meals during the day will "jumpstart your metabolism" or "burn fat" or help you lose weight in and of its own. At the risk of sounding repetitive: calories in vs. calories out.0 -

i see,, thanks for the clarification bro0 -
In my experience, it is pretty irrelevant if we're talking about Metabolic advantage or some nonsense that it's supposed to have. I do find it quite relevant in terms of satiation, mood and making good choices though.0

With as many times as that's said it never gets repetitive because no one listens. It's not dieting voodoo magic so it must not be true!0
