which one is better? I do cardio almost everyday, but to lose weight would it be better to lift weights or to just do crossfit? I tried doing insanity in the afternoons and running and elliptical in the mornings but it did not give me much results. right now I am doing cardio in the morning (same 2 exercises) and a little more running in the afternoon followed by weight training. I'll post my results in about a month.

To lose weight, eat at a deficit.
Exercise is for fitness, not weightloss.0 -
a balanced workout to burn calories should give you results, trying to do too much is negative your body needs to recover, slower results last longer0

i like weight lifting with cardio/sports instead of crossfit.0

I love Crossfit. It's constantly varied, so I never get bored. There's a sense of community with crossfit that I've never encountered at globo gyms. I've made many close friends at my gym and really enjoy the fund raising events that we participate in. CrossFit has awakened a sense of competitiveness in me that I didn't know existed. I compete against myself and the whole gym celebrates my successes with me. Oh, and did I mention that by doing CrossFit 5 times a week and eating Paleo (which is essentially as simple as just eating real food), I've lost over 77 pounds since the beginning of the year?
I recommend that you dive right in and give CrossFit a try. I hope you love it as much as I do.0 -
Crossfit will give you the weight training AND cardio in one place and in less time. It's fun and super intense! Give it a try!0

I love weight lifting! I haven't tried crossfit but I just don't see myself using proper form with crossfit with all the jerking and fast movements.. I like the slow and steady targeting each muscle group. I have friends that do crossfit and love it though. I think its personal preference.0
