Hi,
I am trying to decide whether to join a diet club or a gym.
The price is about the same per month, I have at least 5 stones to lose.
My children both start school in September and now feel I need to get mysel into shap.
Please let me know your views and if possible your success stories x

The gym will do more for you than any diet club.0

Gym membership.
Gym burns fat and make you fee good. This site is like a diet club already.

If you make Myfitnesspal a part of your daily routine, and really stick to your calorie goals, then your money is better spent on a gym membership. If you have difficulty controlling what you eat/how much you eat, then it's worth joining some sort of diet support group to help you adapt to the lifestyle change.0

Gym
Not only is the buzz you get from the gym far more helpful than being talked at in a diet club but the gym will fit easier around your family and other commitments - diet clubs are fixed times and difficult to adapt.0 -
Gym... then go find a meeting of Overeaters Anonymous. It's free.0

GYM!!! :-)0

Not only will the gym help in so many more ways than a diet club, just the word diet is a bad thing..
Gym=lifestyle Diet=yo-yo weight.0 -
Another vote for gym! MyFitnessPal has great free resources instead of a diet club.0

Gym membership. The motivation to lose weight
must come from within.0 -
Gym! I no longer believe in the concept of a diet. Once3 I stopped I lost 95 pounds.0

Totes the gym for reasons everyone else has already stated.
Good luck! Enjoy the journey!

diet clubs make their money on repeat customers.
so do gyms.
to decide whose repeat customer you would rather be, park outside and look at the people coming in & out.0
