I thought if I bumped my calories, I'd lose. Just whining I guess.

I haven't tried bumping up my calories but from what I've heard on here from the people who have, the initial weight gain was followed by loss and broke through their stall. I don't think it would work for me because my sedentary TDEE is 1700 anyway, and I want to lose 1lb a week, so I want to keep that 500 deficit. What's your TDEE, if it's higher you should be able to bump up your calories a bit?

How long were you stalled. It has to be at least 4 weeks with no change at all to be a stall.

60 yrs old male, target loss 85 lb., loss to date 65 lb. (in 5 months). I have not stalled as of yet. I have steadily increase my calorie burn rate as I have progressed. Work out 6-7 days per week burning 1,100 - 1,300 per session while consuming about 2,200 gross calories per day - with a net result of less than 1,000. The process is purely Math in Action; burn more than you take in.

I know I can't be some freak of nature. I have been doing Elliptical or Spin class 4 times a week for an hour every day. I haven't always been eating all my calories back

I have quit eating nearly as much meat. Eating mostly vegetables, some fruit and have quit eating bread. Maybe not enough protein?
