Guess what I got for my birthday? A new BMI!

My 43rd birthday is in two days and today I got my present early. I just did my weekly weigh-in and I'm finally in the 'healthy' BMI category for the first time in 20 years. Whoo hoo!!!

When I started in January I weighed 77kg (170lb) and as I'm 5'3" was in the 'obese' category. I'm now 14kg (31lb) lighter and down two clothes sizes.

Thanks MFP community - the stories, advice and inspiration on these forums have set me on the right path and helped me get back up when I've stumbled.

    Congratulations on your weightloss and happy birthday! Just realised that if all goes according to the plan, I will hit the healthy BMI range right around my birthday so there's another incentive to stick to the plan. Thanks for the idea!
