I was struggling trying to figure out where to post this so I apologize in advanced.
So normally I take a rest day on Tuesday, but I recently made my routine a lot tougher and my whole body is killing me right now. Would it be wrong to move my rest day to today or should I work through the pain and stay on schedule? I was thinking of moving my Monday routine to Tuesday.
I'm more or less worried that I may injure myself.

If you're in pain (as opposed to tolerable discomfort) it's definitely time to take a day off.0

I am no professional but have learned a lot through the years via reading articles and talking to professionals. This is my humble opinion.. your body is sore because your muscles have been worked and therefore have tiny tears in them. The tears are a good thing but you want to rest them to allow them to repair before you make more tears. This way you can avoid doing more harm then good. That is my simplified basic answer. I also am one who believes in listening to your body. If your body is very sore and tired keep it light. Do some mild stretching and go for a walk or bike ride. This way you get some blood pumping back into your muscles which helps them heal and you can move some lactic acid out as well. Drink lots of water too.0

Yes , listen to your body, I usually take Tuesdays too, but if I feel like it I will take a 2nd day some weeks, I can just tell when my body needs it.0

I doubt you would injure yourself, but working out when you're extremely sore will hinder your recovery. That said, I'd take the rest day.0

Judging by your join date you are new to all this. If you aren't new to exercise and just new here then you can probably ignore me.
You definitely do not want to push too hard at first. Yes, you will injure yourself. Yes, it will hinder your recovery time.
When I first started out I made every other day a rest day. When I got to where I felt good about where I was and what my body could handle then I alternated body areas every other day (running one day, sit ups pull ups and push ups the next, wash rinse, repeat) but would still give myself a rest day or two. I now only take one rest (Monday) because my weekends consist of a 10+ mile run Saturday and a 50-100 mile bike ride Sunday. I then keep the workouts tame during the week (at least by comparison) and just push hard on the weekends.0
