I cut off the kernels and weigh them.

I find most ears of corn have around 200 grams of kernels.

Or weigh it before and after eating. Subtract the weight of the core from the weight of the entire cob - that's how much sweetcorn you just ate. Don't forget to weigh the lump of butter in the dish / packet before and after you put it on - if you do.

    Edited to correct typo

Corn contains HFCS and should not be consumed.

weigh it before you eat it, and again after it comes back out.

So...what I hear you saying is...corn is calorie free, right?

One of the great snacks in Mexico is an individual ear of corn sold on the street (elote). Mexicans will put mayonnaise and chili on the ear and eat it on a sick. It's delicious, even without the mayo. It's a great late night snack.

It comes back out looking the same as it went in, so obviously it doesn't digest and you don't have to count it. I've heard stories of it coming out of people who hadn't even eaten it. Corn is sneaky!
