So in the losing weight journey, I am sure I am not the only one who has gotten a compliment that was a little awkward haha

here is mine. This happened last week while I was visiting my parents. I threw a pair of shorts in the wash with some of my moms clothes. When she went to get them from the dryer she came in and says , " Meghan, I am so sorry, I didn't know your shorts were in the wash and I dried them and they shrunk....like a lot." And then she held them up.....no mom those are my shorts, they didn't shrink. "Ohhhh...."

what's your most awkward of funny compliment since losing weight?

    Female coworker:
    "Didn't there used to be quite a bit more of you?.....I mean....um....You look smaller.....I mean, you didn't look huge, but now you look smaller....I mean, you look good....I mean, there's a compliment in there somewhere."


    Male coworker:
    "Hey. Oh hi! I didn't know that was you in that dress. I mean, I didn't know you could do that!!! I mean...that's a pretty dress!"

    I childhood guy friend ( I am a now n my mid 30's) WOW!!! u have big boobs for such a little girl!!!!! how do I respond to that one????

    my (very skinny) sister was trying to compliment me on my weight loss and said: it's really amazing, you ALMOST don't have a belly anymore!

    I thought that was very funny :)

    I had a co worker a few years back who was kind of like Tobias from Arrested Development he would just say things and you'd be like dude rephrase that, I was working two jobs at the time and my 2nd job was at a bar I was on the door that night with my friend who worked out and kept him self in good shape.

    So my co worker walks up to the other door guy and says "You're ripped I bet you great with your shirt off." There was some awkward silence before he finally went in to get a drink

    I've been asked if I had been I'll, because I had lost weight, when I replied 'no' the woman got all embarrassed.
    Also had a guy compliment me on how small and dainty my wrists were... That was odd!

    WTF? Did you start using a new perfume as you lost weight? Or did you sweat so bad when you had more weight that no amount of perfume covered the smell?
