Sugar in Fruit

Drives me nuts. I am literally over my sugar allowance at the end of breakfast. I buy Greek yogurt with the lowest amount of sugar I can find (I can't eat the plain stuff, ick.) and if I have a piece of fruit at breakfast or for a snack that's it.
Do you guys worry about going over on sugar if it is from a natural source like fruit? I generally only get concerned if it is modified sugar or contains high fructose corn syrup. I go over on my sugar every single. day. I am considering just hiding the sugar content and replacing it with something else so I don't have that red number staring me in the face every day.
Is sugar sugar? how do you view it? Feel free to take a look at my daily food logs & let me know if I should change something.

I ignore how much sugar MFP says I can have. Problem solved.0

I like to put coconut oil on a banana and lick it off. That what I still get the taste but don't have to log the calories.0

Agree! About the only thing I pay REALLY close attention to is my calorie count. I usually try and stay 100-200 calories under my goal and it seems to be working. Putting yourself in to much of a box can make getting healthier seem more of a chore than it needs to be.0 -

If I am only over sugar because of my fruits, I do ignore it. Just like you are, i would only worry about the modified sugar and high fructose corn syrup. I am still working on getting my macros in line, but I don't think you should eliminate fruits to hit mfp's target sugar. I've read in many forums they set it too low. You can increase it also in your goals to a more reasonable amount to include your fruits and watch when you go over that amount.0

I do not pay attention to the sugar add on. I get most of my sugar from fruit, not added sugar.
Try plain yogurt with fruit. Start with 1/2 cup fruit and 1 or 2 oz yogurt. You will slowly grow accustomed to plain. Now fruit yogurt (meaning their pre-packaged ones) taste gross and too sweet to me.0 -
I've only been a user for a week, but this is bugging me too. I think I will ignore it for now. I am still losing weight. And the fruit keeps me from going crazy and eating candy. Maybe I can focus on my sugars later.0

I replaced my sugar tracker with fiber, to make sure I get enough. I don't eat much added sugar at all, and then, it's in the form of agave nectar or honey, so the vast majority of sugar I eat comes from fruit. So, yeah, I ignore it.
I add agave nectar and fruit (frozen raspberries) to plain Greek yogurt and let the raspberries thaw a little. Delicious! And I know exactly what's in it.0 -
 I just went under my settings and removed it, there was no need for me to be worried about it since I was over almost everyday due to me eating fruit.0

This really helped me understand why too much sugar can & does hinder weight loss overall.0 -
I don't worry about too much sugar from fruits.0
