Hi,

Just bought a Juicer and was thinking of juicing for breakfast everyday. Has anyone had any success using a juicer?

Thanks!

You're probably not going to get a lot of support on this forum for doing anything but eating food and counting calories.

If you want to drink juice as a part of that, that's your prerogative, but there's no majic bullet. It's probably not healthy either, no balance to it.

Best of luck though, if you follow the site you will get your results in a healthy and sustainable way.

P.S. I thought at first that this was a question about steroids lol

    Hi,
I juice in the morning 3-4 days a week, mostly vegetables. I do this to get in more veggies since I'm bored of eating salad. But I also will include protein such as a hard boiled egg or greek yogurt along with my glass of vegetable juice. I hope that helps!

There is nothing magical about juicing for weight loss. Juicing can be a good way for people to get in their fruits and veggies, particularly if they have difficulty doing so otherwise. Personally, I like juicing for that very reason...I eat a fair amount of veggies, but I usually drink a couple servings as well to get my 4-6 daily. I don't do meal replacement juicing usually....on occasion, but not usually...but if you look at recipes, a meal replacement juice recipe can easily be upwards of 500 calories +.

Weight loss is all about having and energy (calorie) deficiency...not about juicing or ketones or cider vinegar, or cayenne pepper, or green tea....etc, etc, etc. Many of these things have other health and wellness benefits, but weight loss is about energy.

Weight Loss and Having More Energy

I don't find it gives me more energy. Juice doesn't keep you full for very long.

For weight loss, juicing will not do anything special that regular food can do. Weight loss comes down to a calorie deficit. I can get a much better and more nutritious meal with real food as opposed to juice for the same if not a bit less calories.

Have juice now and again but don't rely on it for anything. It lacks some main nutrients (fiber and protein for example).
