I repeat that quote over and over again each day. I just finished Week 5 day 3 of C25k. That's right, today I ran 20 minutes without stopping! When I first started, I could BARELY jog for 30 seconds. Today I started to defeat myself before I even began running. I thought surely I cannot run for 20 minutes. There is no way. Yesterdays run was 8 minutes and I felt like I would die of exhaustion. I repeated this quote in my head for the first several minutes and I completed my run with the biggest smile on my face. I am a runner. I cant believe I can say that now, but I am so excited! I never thought I could do it.

    Good going! I remember my first nonstop 20 minutes and I felt like the king of the world!

    Try for 21 next time. :)

    I like that :) Gonna have to try it in a couple days with C25K. I always find myself stopping running during the intervals, but I'll look down and see "10seconds" left, so I say "Bah, waht's ten seconds?! I can do that" and start running again lol.
    But I don't know if that's gonna work when I'm up to 20 minutes!!

    I just did that same run yesterday and have been repeating that quote to myself since I started C25K. Congratulations!!
