Last night I was absolutely craving a chocolate milk shake. I decided to throw some ingredients together and got an absolutely delicious result.. I had two of them they were so good! Oh and did I say how STUFFED I was! I made them as my desert and they killed my sweet tooth right on the spot. Here is the recipe:
Ingredients (makes one large shake):
- 1/4 cup (half a package) of fat free Jell-o instant chocolate pudding mix (40g package)
- 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
-1/2 cup of 1% milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
-5-7 ice cubes
Directions: put all ingredients in blender. Add ice cubes and blend until thick and smooth Pour into glass and enjoy!
*This is a very versatile recipe. You could sub the chocolate for vanilla pudding, or whatever flavor you like. You could also sub any of the milks for chocolate milk, whole milk, a little bit of cream, etc. You could also add a scoop of your favorite protein powder. Whatever works for you. I found this exact recipe the perfect consistency. The cows milk gives it that real milk shake flavor but the almond milk saves on calories! This recipe is high in sodium because of the instant pudding mix.*
