As everyone knows, football season is just around the corner, and I am excited about that (mainly because Green Bay is going to stomp), but the season I am really waiting for is hockey season! So, thought I would drop a thread and try and get some fellow puckheads into my friends list to mix it up this season with!!!!! Feel free to throw an add and let me know your team so I know when this season to talk trash ;). Haha. I would say it is San Jose's year this year, but who am I kidding!

    I'm one of them. Spoiled since I've gotten to see two Hawks championships in the last 5 years. I think we have another chance to make a run at the cup, a lot of good new talent while keeping the core.

    Just like football though it's how you stay healthy. Grind out the regular season and be able to squeak into the playoffs is all you need to do as long as you're running hot at the end.

    I gotta say, I love Lake Erie's emblem. Have yet to attend an AHL game, but have been to a few ECHL games. Gotta love minor league hockey.

    Chicago looks crazy good (again). They will be tough to stop.

    Philly, well, ummmmm, I hope they can make some noise. I HATE the Pens ;)

    Gotta love the Wild. Would love to see them become a force in the west!

    But seriously, following NHL is a little tough for me along with following THE BEST Girls U19 Hockey Team in the state of Wisconsin...... (my daughters), then Green Bay Gambler's who're USHL, then Chicago.


    I don't know about Green Bay Packers though. We live just west of Green Bay and what I've seen of practice and pre-season, I dunno if they're going to be all that great. If you ask McCarthey that you'll get a different answer though. And, no I'm not a Packer fan. I'm married to a Vikings fan and I grew up in the SF Bay Area, so I'm a 49er's fan. I like to rile up the Packer fans by wearing a Vikings jersey though.

    But I am excited for our Hockey Season, to start in October!!! Go M&M Thunder!
