Too Much Protein?

Today I just noticed I am 1 pt over my protein goal. Is there such a thing as too much protein? Sorry Im nutritionally challeneged and have NO experience or knowledge in that kind of stuff.

    If you still have MFP's settings for protein, then you are likely even too low so not in any danger of having too much. It's pretty hard to overdue it on protein barring any medical complications. A general recommendation is about 1g per pound of lean body mass. Many even go 1g/lb or higher so without seeing what your actually number is, it's unlikely it was too much.
  • Don't worry about going over by such a low amount. Excess protein won't do you any harm. Your body will pee (sorry!!) what it doesn't use!
