Anybody here with higher calorie goals?

My Default calorie goal is 2100 according to MFP. (and this is for losing weight).

Anyone else have higher than normal numbers?

I don't know what "normal" is, but that doesn't sound overly high for a man.

I'm at maintenance on 3000 a day or a mild bulk on 3250 a day as a 6'-1" male. 2100 isn't unreasonable, depnding on your height and weight.

I eat over 3k a day and lose weight (I'm 6'4" and went from 337 to 281) though I've stalled lately for some reason. Currently seeing if I need to "refeed" or if I am doing something wrong. But yeah, I'd be well over 2100 calories either way.

Okay, haha, I just keep seeing all of these numbers from like 1200 to 1800 and such.

I can't imagine eating 3000+ calories a day. I struggle to eat as much as a do now!

I thought the same thing when I started. "How am I supposed to eat 2000 calories PLUS eat back my exercise!?" But if you're overweight, you got there by overeating, you have to be able to consume more. And if you are exercising, you need to fuel your body appropriately. It'll take some time to adjust, get used to and find the right number. But once you do, you'll be happier than trying to force yourself to stay under 1800 calories because you're "supposed" to. Good luck.
