I have multiple of her DVD's, but has anyone used the Jillian Michael's Body Revolution? I'm really tempted to buy it, but I want some opinions about it before going forward with the purchase. Tell me the good and the bad. Thanks guys!

I'm curious too, have you tried any of her weight loss yoga dvds?

I am currently in the last phase of Jillian Michaels Body Revolution. I have 2.5 weeks left of the program. I love it! It is hard but doable. Nothing is more than 30-35 minutes long.

The only negative I think is that the cardio DVDs are pretty repetitive and boring, I do use them but know that a lot of people substitute their own cardio in place of those DVDs.

I am not seeing the results I thought I would on the scale but I know that I have gained a ton of muscle. I have gone down a pant size and I feel so much smaller, stronger and firmer.

I would HIGHLY recommend it. I am going to repeat the program once I'm done with higher weights and less modifications and I'm looking forward to seeing more changes in my body.

I bought it but for me, it was a slight let down because I had done so many of her other ones, a lot is repetitive or even easier in the beginning. That said, she is so supportive and if I started with it, would have felt it was a great series. I had to speed it up a bit, did the DVD's in the beginning just a few times, not a week. She is encouraging, shows modifications and has a fun group.
I didn't like the cardio and do other things.

I, at my age, 50's, need more cardio in general, she does a lot of toning which is great, you lose inches, challenge muscle groups, but I found DVD's of hers, such as Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism were better for that. Even her Last Chance Workout with Biggest Loser series (interm./advanced dvd) had my calories higher and that was circuit training.

I saw on collagevideo.com, she is breaking the BR series up, so you can buy Phase 1 alone. I think that might be better for you, cheaper and you can see if you like it before getting Phase 2.

I'm just starting 3 and some things are crazy, I can't do high jumps, etc. but I modify. She does keep you hopping. ; )

I would agree that the cardio DVD isn't stellar but I feel that way about most workout in front of the TV cardio vids. The other workouts are great and kick your but. I'm a big JM fan.

I did JMBR up until week 10, wasn't able to finish because of an injry not workout related. I did really well with the program, lost a good 15 pounds and gained loads of endurance. I liked that she uses more modern techniques that p90 and such. Also the people in the video are much easier on the eyes than other videos 8)
