Database exercise calories

My HRM battery died last night...I usually post calories from that...this morning I used the database numbers for my exercise...I'm assuming that the numbers take into account and deduct resting hourly calorie burn...if so, does anyone know if its an average number or is it calculated based on my personal data...?

I have found not evidence of resting in any of it. I check the numbers when I post my work out with what is in the database, and most times, they are very close.0

Check out this site for calories burned. Everything seems to be pretty close to what MFP says.0
