knee pain

Anyone have any advice on how to get rid of or through knee pain while exercising? I know it's most likely due to my weight but I find doing squats, jumping jacks, lunges, even stepping bothers my knees.
Should my toes point outward more? Any ideas would be grateful! Thanks!!:frown:

I suppose the usual; see your physician first but other than that it could be your IT band being tight which can be helped with deep tissue massage via a foam roller so it is worth looking into those exercises. Other than that and the many other problems that could cause a knee twinge including the weather - your form is next on the list so I would ask a PT just to watch your form when you are doing squats or lunges etc as even a little alignment issue can put great pressure on the knees resulting in x amount of time off recovering.0

I have an exercise bike, I find that fine for my knees, also swimming or aquarobics is supposed to be good.0
