New here, a little confused about first weight input

I have been on MFP for less than a week...have lost a decent amount of weight before that. Am I supposed to put my "starting" weight from back then on here (a year ago)...or from a few days ago? I just put in the weight from a few days ago...how is that type of thing usually done...should I just use MFP as a new starting point then?

Your choice. There is no 'rule' about it.
When I started MFP in June 2012, I put my weight then, which was 214. I later changed it to my starting weight in January 2012, which was 238. I wanted to have all my weight loss reflected on MFP.0 -
Do you have any idea how to change it? Thanks for your help...0

Oh sorry just saw your response. How to change it:
My home>Check-In>Edit Previous Entries...then just change your first weight entry0
