My Dad Did it!

Months and months back, I mentioned that my dad was going to run across the country to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer's disease.
Years ago, he was 280 pounds and struggling. He began walking, then running and doing stairs at our state park and lost down to around 160.
Well, he began his run in Savannah, GA on 1-12-13 and yesterday he pushed his jog stroller (Wilson- carries all of Jack's things) in to Monterey, CA!
He did it! And now he weighs in at 144! He is 62 years old and medication free.
I am so proud of him!

Absolutely fantastic and what a worthy cause to raise awareness and money for. My mother in law passed away 4 years ago after being diagnosed with Alzheimers only 2 years previously.0
