I've made healthy diet and exercise a huge component of my self-care plan for dealing with my depression, and I'm wondering if there are any others out there doing the same for their mental illness. Always happy to have new friends, and it would be great to have some going through the same battle as I am!

This made me giggle! I too have social anxiety and panic disorder! I've found through exercise and diet that my anxiety is getting better, I just need to figure out the social bit! ????

Exercise and eating well has done WONDERS for my brain! Best medicine I've tried yet (Hopefully it lasts heheh).

ME ME ME..... Bipolar II , panic attacks...
I am determined not to be defined by my diagnosis... but will talk to anyone about it... I have found that working out has helped tremendously - I just had a follow up with my doctor and she asked me how often I had been working out and I told her 5 days a week at least.... she said thats great the last time you were here you wanted to get to the gym 3 days a week - So goal achieved.... next goal have a 10k under my belt before I go back...
