Is the pill affecting my weight loss?

This is my first post here, so I'll present myself a little bit. I'm a 26 year old girl from Madrid (Spain) who kinda has to/wants to lose 10 kg (22 lbs more or less). I'm terrible with introductions, excuse me.
I'm feeling a bit blue because I started exercising regularly (cardio and strength) and controlling and tracking what I eat almost a month ago and I've seen no results. I know the scale is not the best indicator of weightloss but it's quite disappointing to see that I haven't lost a single gram in this time. I don't eat back all my calories, most days I don't even get to 1200 which is the very least I should be eating according to my BMR and all that stuff. I've yet to measure myself and compare it to the measurements I took a month ago but after this I'm postponing it so I don't lose my motivation, whatever's left of it. Truth is I'm still motivated, I know these things take time and that I won't see results from one day to another but I did think I would have seen something by now, however little.
I'm so surprised by my lack of results (visible results I mean, I do feel fitter, my *kitten* and my legs are much stronger from all the crazy spinning classes, but the layer of fat is still there, grr) that I'm starting to think about other things that might be affecting my weight loss and I've come to think that maybe being on the pill has got something to do with it. Do you guys know if this could be true or am I just being crazy and looking to place the "blame" anywhere but on myself?

This is my 1st post too, i know certain pills can increase appetite and hormones play a big part in weight management. Before joining this site i lost 22lb and 15inches in 7 weeks doing insanity and had lost 18lb in 6 months prior to this but no real inches. Im 30 yrs old and also on a pill, and find it difficult to eat all my calories in a day. I would do measurements anyway cos i think you may be surprised, i am only starting to see the visible results now for myself but others noticed them ages ago but i thought they were being polite!! Its harder for you to see cos you see yourself everyday. You have probably gained muscle which is why the scales aren't moving, work out you body fat which is a better guide. Hope this helps.0

1200 Calories might be too low for you for one, and for 2, birth controls can make a big difference (depending), but you have to control yourself. The main thing I would look into honestly is your calorie intake, 1200 is generally low, and to be lower than that could be dangerous and bad for your health. Sounds crazy but I would eat more and you will probably see a difference0

Try eating more and eating exercise calories back. Some people can do 1200 a day but I cannot at all.
The pill doesn't help matters. don't know whether it's the hormones, water retention or what but you can lose whilst on the pill.
If you eat more I reckon you'll start losing, set your goal to lose 1 or 1.5lb a week and that will up your calories - not massively though x0 -
