I went for what I thought was my "induction" at the new gym I joined. Figured the bloke was gonna show me the facilities, take some measurements, show me how to do the machines etc.
Noooooo! Turned out what I'd actually booked was a full-on, one hour session with a personal trainer! Some great big, scary-eyed Russian guy basically beasted me for an hour. Nasty man even made do running at 11 mph. (I cannot run)
I can barely walk now - he made me do loads of lunges with weights, which felt really easy at the time, but now I can feel muscles in my thighs I never knew were there and they are screaming!
On the plus side, it was free, I discovered I love boxing, and the gym was really plush. Must be a glutton for punishment as I have booked again as a "treat" for my birthday
I think what swung it was the fact that he thought I was about 28 (I'm 37). Smoothy!

Would have loved to see the look on your face when you realized what was in store. Sounds like it was an intensive session and your rewarding yourself by going back not with something fatty so, that's a plus. Good Job! I would love to take boxing. I'm so uncoordinated though, I'd probably end up hitting myself.0

I'm not trying to be peddle-y but nothing better than working til you can move and then a soak in this stuff. *amazing*0
