Hey guys! I am new here, and I am kinda confused about the protein, I am suppose to intake daily, MFP has it set for me to intake 69g daily, which I always go over and feel guilty lol, I am very active, I work out 6x, I am 5'2 and 147 pounds, can someone please help me calculate how much protein I am suppose to take ?

If there is one thing to go over and not to feel bad....it's protein! The MFP amounts are just recommendations, there is always a little wiggle room! I never follow the daily goals given, I do use it to track calories and macro's. I am trying to follow the IIFYM eating plan, since I am really getting into weight lifting and it is helping me make progress. With your level of activity 69g seems low, but I don't know what your goals are.
This can help you see what macro's are best for you

I'm not nearly as active as you are, and I consume between 100-130 grams of protein pretty regularly.0

calculate on lean body mass
150 or so grams seems to be plenty for me @ 175lbs0 -
At least 100g a day. If I eat more than that, even better!0

0.8 - 1.0 g/lb lean body mass (LBM) is a good target for you if you are lifting weights. LBM = Actual Weight * (1 - BF%/100)0
