HRM strap rubbing

Has anybody else had their HRM strap rub whilst running? I have a small blister there now, well actually it is a strange sort of mark, I am presuming it is because of sweat during a run irritating my skin.
How did you combat this?

Hmm...this hasn't happened to me. It sounds to me like a loose strap. Can you tighten it up?
Otherwise, I know Polar makes sports bras with built in transmitters--if it's that your bra is causing the strap to rub. Or possibly an application of baby powder, if sweat is the issue.0 -
I dont have that issue either ..are u sure that its the correct spot and secure0

I haven't had a blister, but I just use body glide under mine except here the contacts hit.0

Sounds like your strap is too loose. It should be so tight as to be *almost* uncomfortable.0

Body glide.
Where did you get hold of that? I will see if I can get some.0 -

Most running shops will stock it. An alternative is to rub on a little solid deodorant (preferably something unscented) and it does pretty much the same job at half the price.0 -
Ouch! I got a sore from the clasp one time, but as log as I make sure the tag is folded over the clasp i'm ok. I'm going to check out that glide stuff just in case. Or deodorant. Good luck! That doesn't sound fun.0

Ahh thanks Brian!
Weirdly, I have just got back from a run and there is now ANOTHER mark just above where the other mark is. It is exactly in line with the receiver bit that clips onto the strap. I am a little concerned, because now I have two burn type scars there, really peculiar.
When I jumped in the shower as soon as the water hit the marks, it was like an electric shock!
Hubby has suggested I leave the HRM off for a while to let it heal up, I can still use just the watch as a timer.
It will, however, be a nuisance not knowing my calorie burns, but as I never eat all my calories back, there is no problem, I have a rough idea by nw how many I should burn anyway.0 -

You can also get it at Amazon or at Sports Authority. It's everywhere, at least in the U.S.
I discovered when it I was training for my first Trail Walker, and I can attest that it will last through 30+ plus hours of sweat and rain.0
