okay this question is being asked on behave of my brother who does not use MFP.
he is around 5'11 and anywhere from 190-200 he used to weigh a lot less, but then started wanting to bulk up. then kinda stopped now hes just stuck with a bunch of fat.
he wants to start losing fat, and bulking up. but isnt sure what to do or where to start first.
any advice that i could pass along to help him would be great.
should he lose fat first and then bulk up, try to do a combo? we like working out together but i cant get him to do anything these days because he isnt sure where to start first to achieve his dream body, which would be like abs, big arms and shoulders, and muscular chest.
thank you in advance.

I would suggest having him go on a cut first. Then after he lowers his BF he could go on a regular bulk or a lean bulk to pack on some size.0

ab question: would he work on abs then bulk, or bulk then abs?0 -

I'm saying he should eat less food (caloric deficit) first. Then bulk up by eating more (caloric surplus) after he gets lean. He should be doing strength training and working out his abs throughout the entire process.0 -

He should be lifting heavy no matter what he is eating. Abs are a muscle just like all of the others and will grow when bulking then you cut to get them to show.0

does the warden not let him access the internet?0

Calorie deficit, medium cardio and lifting to cut fat.
Eat all the food and lifting with less to no cardio to bulk.
Rinse, repeat.
Also, isn't "stacked" a euphemism for a girl with big boobs?0 -
