Oops   **** Topic MY New Shopping List****

ANY IDEAS on what else I can add to my shopping list that would be healthy for me and the kids???Okay, so this is my second day tracking my calories on MFP, It`s a little challenging when you have two athletic teenagers and a toddler in the house, they can eat all the want and don`t gain a pound but me in the other hand, just breathing food I gain 5 lol. Im lucky that my kids like fruits and veggies so it will be easier to add more of those to our meals from now on.. I was surprise this morning to find out that they actually liked the natures own wheat bread with eggs I made them. Going to try whole wheat pasta and see if they don't start complaining lol. Ok so this morning I went and bought

Whole wheat bread
whole wheat pasta
rice
eggs
light mayo
butter
low fat cheeses
low fat yogurt
chicken breast, lean pork chops, turkey
lots of veggies and fruits
1% milk
aunt jemima light syrup
aunt jemima pancake mix
breyers vanilla bean ice cream
nathans beef hot dogs
turkey burgers
bagels
orange juice
cranberry juice
water
talapia
shrimps
raisin bran cereal
rice crispy cereal
other baby foods and things for my toddler....

I make sure I always have parmasean cheese.

I use Ronzoni SmartTaste pasta. it has 5g of fiber per serving. the nights that I make the family pasta and sauce,I don't use red sauce. I toss mine with veggies, garlic, pepper and parmasean cheese. I like to add shrimp sometimes too.

I will slice yellow squash and toss it in olive oil, pepper, garlic, and parmasean and bake it at 350 for 15-20 mins (or however "done" you want it)

pat Talapia dry. spray with a no calorie butter spray. mix Italian bread crumbs, garlic salt, pepper and parmasean cheese and then sprinkle on the fish. bake!

just a few ideas....hope they help
