Probably been a bit lazy here but any help with my weekly shopping list. Will need to bring my lunch with me most days to work. I know the normal...fruit and veg but I'm sure people on here would make a better list than I would.

I typically pre-log a week's worth of food in my diary because I have a lot of recipes that I like. Then, I will make my grocery list from the logs and only buy what I need to make those meals. It saves me time and money doing things this way. My diary is pre-logged this week everyday from tomorrow until the weekend. (Today I am not logging since I am going out to eat tonight and have no idea what the calorie content will be...it's just a free day, lol)0

That's actually a really good idea!0

Lots of fresh vegetables. Very good for you and most are very low calorie.0

I always get a bag of salad greens, avocado, mushrooms, chicken and turkey, whatever fruits and vegetables are in season/on sale that I like. I usually take a big salad with protein for lunch, maybe a fruit on the side.0

My lunches are usually my left overs from dinner. I work 2 on 2 off right now, and so I only cook dinner on the nights I am off, my husband usually makes his own dinner and I usually skip dinner on work days because I get home so late. But I keep stocked in:
-Salad Mix (tip, buying leaf lettuce on its own and cutting it up is cheaper, just make sure you use it!)
-Carrots
-Cucumber
-Red onions
-radishes
-Frozen pre-cooked chicken (usually from the organic sections or whole foods)
Salads are the way to go for quick lunches, you can end up having like 3 cups works of lettuce and it only ends up being 20 calories or so (ETA: that isn't including the extras you put on it, just the lettuce lol).0
